The Social Brewing Lab (‘The Lab’) is Bruuveri’s very own craft brewery. The Lab is the anarchist child on the beer scene, where craftmanship meets passion and creative madness. The result brings us excellent award-winning beers that our customers are privileged to enjoy in our restaurant.

The Social Brewing Lab also offers an interesting glimpse into the beer-brewing process: You can sip your drink and enjoy an unrestricted view of the daily hustle and bustle of the brewery and of Juhani, the master of brewery, hard at work.

Our Lab is the source of some legendary and tradition-honouring beers, but it is also the birthplace of some wildly experimental brews for brave pioneers in the beer industry and those swimming perhaps slightly against the mainstream. You are welcome to come and taste!

How to get a good start in your craft beer hobby?
Does your palate currently only include a basic lager and a summery cider? Excellent! That is a very promising start. Each of us have started our hobby at some point with these noble beverages. In addition, we keep learning more all the time, as this hobby is a lifelong joy!

So feel free to stride into the Bruuveri bar, and we will be pleased to serve you a basic beer, version 2.0, or lead you further along the path of the beer scene.

I am getting closer to the bar; what now?
The person behind the bar is one of our bartenders. Despite the busy appearance, they have a lovable personality. So have no fear in letting them know that you are a novice in all things beer- related. Feel free to reveal your taste preferences: if you have a sweet tooth, voice it!! If again your taste buds long for sour and bitter tastes, let them know!

Our staff will be happy to recommend you beers and other beverages and show you the ropes, if that is what you want. You are very welcome to join one of our monthly tastings, where you get a more thorough tour of the world of kettles, malts and hops.

Are you looking for a shortcut into the world of beer? Order the Test Tube tasting menu, where you can select five different beers on tap from Social Brewing Lab or other breweries in 2 dl glasses. The Test Tube is a good choice when you want to get to know various beer types, a topical assortment, or new products, for example.
